Windows 7?

Driftmaster130

Rest in Peace, Walkazo
I have a Dell desktop computer from 2005 that runs XP, and I recently bought a Windows 7 disc. Would it be feasible to upgrade (the computer is only 32-bit)

I'm certain that it is feasible, as I'm aware that there are 32 and 64-bit versions of Windows 7.

I wouldn't recommend it.
2005 Laptops are generally to low-end for Windows 7.
If you want to have something different than Windows XP, which is newer than XP, and is as easy (or easier) to use, I can only point you to Linux Mint.

Can you actually install Linux on Windows?

There is VirtualBox, which lets you install and run Linux on/in Windows, yes.
But I won't recommend that, everything in VirtualBox is slow, besides FreeDOS.

You can otherwise try a DualBoot (every time you start your Computer, you can choose you want to use Windows or Linux, without affecting anything on them).
And really, don't install Wubi or Mint4Win, these options are terribly stupid to use, because if your Windows partition is no longer working or infected, Linux will be too.
