Ad and PCoptimizer problems

Am I the only one who has a shit ton of ads on youtube? To the left of the video, above it, below the right hand corner and the bottom of the page. They weren't there earlier.
 
Don't know if it's related, but I accidentally downloaded PC Optimizer Pro which appears to be malware. Please help me permanently get rid of it.

Probably related. If it comes to it, clearing and reinstalling your os will pretty much always work.
 
I went into the control panel and uninstalled it. It said the file was gone, but I'm doing a complete Norton Antivirus system scan.
 
I got rid of the program, the scan got rid of the two problems it found, but there's still a shit ton of ads on youtube.

lol Norton. Use Avast/Malwarebytes, both are free.

Get ad blocker plus.
 
I use Avast to block my ads.
