You know how some courses don't have paintings, like Shifting Sand Land and Snowman's Land? Well, I was wondering what those course's paintings would look like if they had one. Any ideas?

Shifting Sand Land: Possibly sand with a blistering sun in the left corner and sky.

Snowman's Land: Look in the mirror of that room.

But the picture in the mirror is identical to the Cool Cool Mountain one. I wonder why?

Also, I think the Shifting Sand Land painting could show Klepto (the vulture) carrying the star. And once you get that star in the mission, the painting could show him carrying nothing.

Rainbow Ride could be a picture of that floating blue-green house thing with the airship next to it

Good idea. I actually imagined something similar! :)

Huh, you think the Bowser worlds could use a painting design too?

I'm not sure how Bowser In The Fire Sea would work in the game, because the Dire Dire Docks "painting" would be kind of in the way.

But I guess it would be fun to imagine.

I guess one of the Bowser worlds is where you can jump into a painting of Bowser?

Yeah, that would make sense. By the way, you know how you enter Bowser In The Sky by falling into that hole by the Bowser portrait at the top of the "endless" stairs?

Well, I wonder why Nintendo didn't make that portrait the entrance to the final bowser? Maybe they wanted to stick with the theme of a hole in the floor leading to the Bowser level...

Maybe, but I thought it would have been neat to jump into Bowser's face

Also, does anyone find it odd how the Snowman's Land picture looks just like the Cool Cool Mountain picture in the mirror?

the developers being lazy isn't really an odd thing imo

Not necessarily lazy, but they did have to worry about ROM-space.

That's what I was thinking. Not enough space. That's probably why they used that sun texture for the two small paintings next to Wet-Dry World.
