I think it's Metal Mario because he was stupid, lazy and was going to get a fanbase that thinks he is real cool. I hate him.
 
I like Metal Mario, his addition was a good thing for me because he had disappeared since Mario Golf. Honey Queen was a very surprising addition, I doubt she will return but who knows. I think Wiggler was a worse addition, but that's just because I prefer Honey Queen over him.
 
The worst addition was the addition of negative Waluigi. :waluigi:
 
Metal Mario.
He was a clone and would have worked better as an item which makes people metal. At least honey queen isn't a recolour even though she was a bad addition.
 
Where's the both option?

I had to choice Honey Queen, since Metal Mario didn't bother me as much as Honey Queen did. It basically was Nintendo saying "Look at all these characters like Waluigi and Toadette, but nah, let's put in such a wacky and unexpected character since everyone seems to love the Super Mario Galaxy series so much."

Metal Mario was a lame skin and all, but he wasn't really a smack in the face.
 
A subjective and meaningless topic I think. Though I have a answer, honestly there are more better newcomers to choose in Mario franchise.
 
As much as I love using a Heavyweight for once, Metal Mario is a pointless addition. Meanwhile, H. Queen is the only true female heavyweight. I think she has a good chance of returning in Mario Kart 8, because I expect the Cruiserweight and Featherweight classes will return, and H. Queen seems to be the only realistic choice for a true female heavyweight right now.

Metal Mario might return to balance out the barrage of Cruiserweights such as Waluigi, Rosalina, Donkey Kong;and if they return, King Boo, Funky Kong, and Wiggler. Meanwhile, we have Bowser, Dry Bowser, and Wario as possible true heavyweights.

But, this is assuming every character in Mario Kart Wii is returning plus some new comers.

Why is Honey Queen even winning the poll? Out of all the characters in the Mario Kart series, there are only, like five unique ones and she's one of them. I never got her hate. People always wanted unique additions, they got her, and they hate her? WTF?

People keep saying, "Where are the female characters!?" H. Queen is one of the very qualifying few female characters that are truly a heavyweight, so I don't get the hate.

He appears in too many games and should just stay in his house where people can read his mail to him. Also, the way his moustache flaps in the wind like a butterfly which just had a stroke is distracting during a race.

If I told you that Baby Luigi was a terrible addition because his sideburns are shaped like tornadoes and therefore, invite storms to kill everyone and that he's a stupid ripoff, you'd cry, too.

No, I didn't really cry. I suspected it would be a joke. I always thought Mario's 'stache looked like dead crow wings on Mario's face anyway.

They're seven times worse than Metal Mario could've only dreamed of.
 
I liked recolors in Yoshi's Island and in Superstar Saga, but beyond those, I see little point to them.
