Virtual Console Clarification

So I need clarification ill give a few examples

So the virtual console. Say there's super mario bros 3 is there any difference from the game on the virtual console for the Wii Wii u or 3ds.
Also is the game on the
Virtual console the exact same as the original or slightly different?
Like mario 64 , say I buy it on Wii virtual console is it exactly same as n64 version just on virtual console?

The only difference between the original and the Virtual Console versions Super Mario Bros. 3 is that "Kuribo's Shoe", which was listed in Princess Toadstool's letter, was replaced with "Goomba's Shoe". Other than that, the two versions are pretty much identical. As for Mario Kart 64... I've never played the Virtual Console release, but according to the wiki, there are no "Ghost" settings in Time Attack, due to the Virtual Console's N64 emulator not having memory card support, or something along those lines.

It's the same, minus the controller, and some games have the lighting toned down to prevent seizures.

Wave Race 64 had the Kawasaki ads replaced with ads for the Wii and Nintendo DS.

Pokémon Snap changed Jynx's skin color due to "racism". Plus, you can put the pictures on the Wii Message Board.

Those are some other changes.
