I'm pretty excited. I have an interview tomorrow at 11, so I still should be back for the awards I think.

But yay, hopefully they hire me. I'd be working at an A&W. :D
 
The only job I've had is writing for The Shroom, but I doubt they'll allow that as experience.

I did do work experience though if that counts, I was helping in a classroom.

I know a lot of people that work around that age. Still, 14 to be working at A&P sounds a little too young.

My concern for NSM is that he already acts like he's so busy with life and homework, and you saw all his game delays...

He better do his half of our mafia game.

The A&W here is like an outside one that's only open in the summer, so I'll have plenty of time for school and stuff.

dang man i'm 14 and I can barely remember to put on shoes and not walk outside with just socks but congrats that's awesome!!

as it turns out, it's actually possible to juggle work and school. You learn to live with stress leering over you all the time. For a few months, I had to do long shifts until 1AM directly after school, and it certainly left me exhausted but I got good grades all the same.

It all depends on how much effort and tolerance you're willing to put in.
 
well I've got it all planned out

I'm doing a 3rd and 4th year at college, and then after that I'm doing the final year of my degree at university, which is when I will get a job at one of the shops across the road. Once I get a low paying job, me and my boys will start up an indie company while still at our jobs, and once we make a successful game (which could take forever, or it could take 5 minutes, who knows) we'll be able to quit our jobs, get some good ass houses, marry some bitches, father some kids, and we'll be badass by age 30.

assuming that I get onto the next year, which I've been assured by one of my tutors that he'll try his best to get me on.
