I want to know what you guys think.I don't see why some people count it as a spin-off,so no for me.

It's about a bunch of toys that happen to be Nintendo characters fighting. Zero relevance to their series.

Yeah, it's just all Nintendo together fighting. If anything, it's a spinoff of Kirby since they are made by the same people.

...no, that would be like saying that Donkey Kong Country Returns is a spin-off of Metroid Prime because the same people make those games.

Smash Bros is just in it's own category, and is not a spin-off of any of the series. It is it's own series.

It's a Nintendo cross-over so no

Not really. The Mario series being the flagship franchise is a big part of it. But all-in-all it isn't the center of attention. So it can't really be considered a spin-off within the Mario franchise.

SSB is much bigger then that.

no

it has nothing to do with mario, its just nintendos crossover fighting game.

simple as that.

No.... why would it be.
I don't know why it would but I see many people call it a Mario spin-off.

i just realized i clicked the wrong option. whoops.
anyways, i think its a spinoff of the many different nintendo games. it has zero relevance to any of the series (well, the ones i remember).
