I honestly like the game
Its quite Ace attorney-ish rather than laytonish
Alfendi's dual personality gives me the creeps. I cannot imagine how Hershal reacted when he founf out about his son's bloodthirsty 'brother'
 
I tried it and actually didn't really like it. Didn't hit me the same way that the original series and Ace Attorney did.
 
mystery room is the only reason i have hope for layton 7.

it's a competent, if underwhelming, ios game and it shows level-5 can be a competent dev for phones and tablets.
 
Well reallt, I feel its good for a spinoff and an IoS game
However, it actually gives me low hopes for Layton 7 as it is a step away from the rest of the series and is weaker than the main games so I'm worried Layton 7 will not be up to scratch either.
Plus the whole 'interaction RPG' thing for Layton 7 sounds kind of...dodgey.
