Today is National Video Games Day... I didn't even realized such a day existed (plus it reminded me that International Talk Like a Pirate Day is next week)! Perhaps that's why they confirmed Princess Peach's return for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS...
ANYWAY, I figured I'd make a topic commemorating this, though I'm not sure what to talk about... How about this: at the moment, I'm playing Rayman Legends on the Wii U and Wario Land 3 for the Game Boy Color on my Nintendo 3DS. My favorite video game of all time is Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, followed by Super Meat Boy, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles, Super Mario All-Stars (I know it's cheating since it's a compilation, I don't care), Super Mario Galaxy, Sonic Generations, MAYBE Rayman Origins, Punch-Out!! (both for NES and the Wii), The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, EarthBound, and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance or Fire Emblem: Awakening... well, a lot of Nintendo games that I couldn't even begin to list...
Oh, and some of my favorite video game characters: Mario, Luigi, Wario, Kirby, King Dedede, Ness, Porky/Pokey Minch, Little Mac, Meat Boy, Rayman, Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, LOTS of differnet Pokemon...
Gosh, this turned out to be harder then I thought... Trying to think of my favorites, ones that stand out from the crowd, it's harder then it seems, aside from the obvious ones. What are your favorites? Any other suggestion on how to commemorate what's left of this day?
