It is the official logo for the game, a guy simply cut it out. There's no white stuff around it, and the transparency is fine, why did it get deleted? I thought fans were allowed to make things transparent if they do a good job at it. (I have done it before and the images weren't deleted)

im p. sure the shadows are edited and the colors for the image (especially the thousand year door part) look different from http://www.mariowiki.com/images/c/c4/PMTTYD.jpg and http://www.mariowiki.com/images/a/a6/Logo_PM2.jpg

at least i assume thats whats wrong with it. its also from vgboxart, which doesnt automatically make it a fake but on a site dedicated to fake video game boxart theres bound to be a lot of edits. this looks like one

Ah, now that I look at them together, I can see the color difference. Eh, whatever. Maybe I just have something against non-transparent JPEGs, lol

Yes, sorry. I was the one that deleted it.

The additional shadows and shading you put on it were considered "fan edits" to the image, and that no longer makes the image official. The original image was much preferred over the edited PNG.
