The RPGs are legendary, though, so they still should've been mentioned anyway. Plus, it's not as if the New Super Mario Bros. games were very revolutionary, either.

I thought it was a slideshow of just the main series games. Spin-offs were all put into one slide and even then it was only the three obvious choices (Party, Kart, Smash Bros.(I guess it kind of counts even if it's a separate series)).
