The real meat of this though is that the online services for Flipnote Studio 3D were also shut down. Looks like we won't be getting Flipnote 3D after all.

I was going to one day draw pictures of the entire Pokemon but only got up to like, Charmander.

I know they're saying it was because of crude drawings but I am actually speculating that they did this because they want to replace it with Miiverse, because honestly that is just a better Swapnote anyway.

My favourite offensive drawing was a giant scribble somebody sent me that you couldn't tell was a reproductive organ until you watched it being drawn. True genius. So artistic.

Just heard about this too. I'm so disgusted by it. Kudos to Nintendo for being pretty swift with the investigation. I've seen some people say, "Oh, they went about it the wrong way," but honestly if your data is being investigated for criminal activity you can't just, like, keep running a service on it.
