So November 17, 2013 will mark the 10th birthday of the Mario & Luigi series (and characters who debuted in Superstar Saga, including Fawful). Will Nintendo do anything special then? Or will the birthday of the series go unrecognized?

I can't imagine anything special going on this day. Nintendo would say that they plan on something like this, no?

I dunno they didn't do anything with Mario Party's anniversary :(

They would, so I can't see the latter scenario being the case.
I don't believe Nintendo pays much attention anniversary-wise to their Mario spin-off series in general, so I doubted them doing anything from the get-go.

Hell, they didn't even make an effort to celebrate Mario's 25th anniversary.

Yep, it'll pass and the only mentions of it will be here and other sites like this

No...

I don't want even the Year of Mario even if you guys think all year is Year of Mario.

I suppose with all the anniversaries Nintendo could celebrate, they were too lazy and not bothered to do one for every single series (and major character) they have going on, and thus celebrated only a minuscule amount of series' or major characters' anniversaries, which may or may not also be to overshadow the anniversaries of other series or characters from the public. Rather far-fetched, but possible.

The Year of Fawful!

...
Yeah, in about 256 years.

But I think Fawful and his fellow Beanish/others from Superstar Saga at least deserve a day on their 10th anniversary. I just e-mailed Nintendo about it.

Nintendo: (laughs)

"We appreciate that you are a fan of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, but we do not have any plans to celebrate its tenth anniversary at this time. Thank you for your continued support."

why does Nintendo act like the M&L games don't exist sometimes

They act like if ANY of the Mario spin-offs other than their own created ones don't exist

Have you ever seen Mario Party, Paper Mario, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, etc. in any of their games!?

Not even Mario Kart. Cries. Except for that thing in 3D World, but that's like, the only thing.

3D Land would of been good for it if it had been released then. Anyway they released a new Mario & Luigi game this year. That's good enough for me.

Oh, yes, that's good. Nearly forgot that Dream Team was released this year. But I'm still disappointed that it didn't involve Waluigi and Wario.

Here is your anniversary celebration, the new M&L game that came out in August. Deal with it.
