Some Kind Of Linking Glitch

I'm getting some kind of glitch where sometimes a link will link me to a random, old thread.

If you click the quote link at the top of a quote box, it's supposed to link you to that original post, but many times it's linked me to a topic called "The Stupidity of Peach".

Then one time, I was trying to click someone's name to go to their profile, and it linked me to some other random topic that I don't even remember.

Well it never happened with me, can you show an example?

Yeah, because that really helps.

Is it still happening, because sometimes my laptop does weird things and it usually stops when restarted or the webpage is closed?

protip: if you have a technical problem, it would be wise to provide much more detail so we can successfully diagnose the problem and try offering more advice other than asking more questions about it

I think it stopped.

Both times happened right before my internet went down, so it might've been something to do with that.

Also, I was dumb and didn't screen cap it. :P But that might not have helped much.

Even if her computer has issues that shouldn't give her strange redirections. I mean, you'd need to somehow change the topic ID in the querystring to get something like that.

I mean, there are malicious programs which could do similar behaviour but I kinda doubt they'd be designed to link to alternative forum threads. :p

Could also be that the ID in the quote could just be wrong, which would obviously result in it going to a different post.

Yeah, I think I just typed the wrong ID. :p (Both misleading quotes were mine)

It's better now, so this can be locked.
