Suggestions For Some Bands For Me To Listen To?

You can choose from one of these, or suggest another (which is what the other option is for).

Yeah, I get the point. I need more stuff to listen to besides Vocaloid.

I'm leaning towards Led Zepphlin and Eurovision, mainly because it actually seems cool now, and my friend is probably more obsessed with Eurovision than I am with Vocaloid (no joke!)

Also, please do not suggest Gorillaz. Trust me, I have tried it out (another friend likes them), and it is not my type of music.

If you're gonna suggest, my prefered genres are rock (classic or modern, doesn't matter), J-Pop or J-Rock, and maybe some K-Pop, since some of my friends like it.

...Eurovision?

The song contest?

It still technically counts.

Plus my friend is literally obsessed with it, and I want to actually be able to know what she's talking about

eurovision is a contest, not a band, i don't see how it counts

rock is kinda a really broad genre, you'd have to be kinda more specific

give examples i guess of what you like?

Well, whatever. I'm already listening to Eurovision anyways.

I mainly mean classic rock like Led Zepphlin and stuff, but modern rock like Breaking Benjamin too.

Just not any stuff that's all emo-ish and dark.

kara is pretty awesome if you like k-pop

everything else i listen to is symphonic metal though;

delain
rhapsody of fire
blind guardian

oh and bump of chicken isnt too bad either

try green day i guess

i only really like one of their albums but you'd probably like them i guess

Anything by Babymetal, Ayumi Hamasaki, Scandal (スキャンダル) and/or BoA

You should also listen to Black Sabbath and/or Ozzy Osbourne. Lots of it.

I love Bump of Chicken. So fun.

Rolling Stones, Alan Parsons Project, Nirvana and Bonnie Raitt.
Granted, Bonnie Raitt is known more for her blues, but she's got a number of rockin' songs as well (such as "You're Gonna Get What's Coming", "Runaway", and "Willya Woncha"). Fleetwood Mac and Elton John are great too.
