What are the ratings of these animes and are they good? (Suggestions welcome!)

Yeah, I've decided to broaden my horizon on anime a bit, and I need to know a few things like ratings before I watch, just so I don't watch something that will possibly scar me.

I'll also take suggestions, but please keep the following in mind:

-I usually watch stuff rated TV14 or under, but if it's MA, I might still watch it if it doesn't have Sex/Porn/Etchi. I don't really mind mild nudity as long as there's nothing shown.
-I'm not squeamish; I don't mind violence, mild gore, blood, etc,
-It has to be an anime available without requiring downloads or flash player
-If you suggest an anime, please tell me the rating and why

Anyways, here is the list of stuff I am considering

Bleach - I've heard it's TV14 for mild blood and violence. Is this true? I know a lot of people that watch it, and a lot of them are around my age.

Magica Madoka - I hear it's supposed to be one of the creepiest Magical Girl genre animes.

Soul Eater - I believe this is TV14 for the reasons I stated in Bleach, but I'm not 100% certain.

bleach is meh for the most part, the first arc or so is pretty good, but then it comes down to a lot of filler and serious lack of character development.

Also its bit of a sexual appeal anime.

Dunno about magica madoka though.

Soul eater is decent, although it is a bit sexual, but nothing as bad as bleach.

Overall its decent as said, but i only watched like 20 episodes.
 
Well, I dont really mind sexual references and stuff, as long as there isn't actual sex scenes or anything like that.

Also, I've seen the first episode of Soul Eater, so I know what you mean. :P

well the sex appeal personally annoyed me so lol

but personally if you're gonna get into bleach just read the manga, because there are so many filler arcs its almost stupid.
 
I'll read the manga then, but is it easy to read? I'm new to manga reading.

seemed pretty easy to read to me, but by point i was already used to manga, so uh yeah.
 
Okay, I'll give it a try. I have easier access to more mangas for some animes.

@Epic N; Yes, it's on my to-do list. I'm trying to watch it alongside Hetalia,
 
Madoka's great. I didn't find it creepy, but it is a really interesting, darker take on the magical girl genre. No sex at all, and while there's violence, it's not of the bloody, gory sort, iirc.

The manga to Soul Eater is actually better than the anime IMO.

well the manga is generally better for all anime lol

for the most part anyway

also rin if you like robots of any kind:

code geass is pretty awesome, has some sexual appeal in it but it isnt too bad, although really the pros really outweigh the cons in this one.

gundam 00 is also really good and is more serious then a lot of anime(although the main character is so serious sometimes its hilarious).

Although to be honest most gundam anime is pretty good, especially gundam unicorn.
 
I know some friends who liked Gundam. I forgot about that.

I also know some Code Geass fans, too.

I like robots (I have a few original characters who are robots), so I'll give them a shot.
