Things that make you freak out in videos games?

I'd say chase scenes are the worst for me.

SA-X from metroid fusion and nemesis from resident evil 3 are good examples of this as i really freak out and panic during stuff like this.

Although i will also admit that the drowning theme from sonic also makes me panic too.

How about you guys?

That damn piano from Super Mario 64. I still hate it.

Redeads and Gibdos from Link still freak me out to this day that I start getting nervous whenever I watch someone go to areas with them in it

Also, the Elegy of Emptiness Link. Oh my god. The 6 hours before the Dawn of the 4th day in Majora's Mask also makes me evoke emotions

In Garry's Mod, there's a custom map called City Ruins and it's a pretty scary place.

Super Mario 64 Piano, Redeads, the SA-X segments, the Sonic drowning theme, that one scene in PW:AA - Trials and Tribulations when Dahila perishes and that's about all the things I currently remember.

I forgot to mention that The Magic School Bus: Explores the Human Body TOTALLY scared my sister and I as kids (my sister is still anxious to see the game today)

That Boo in Super Mario 64 leading you to Big Boo's Haunt. The level's not too bad though. I never had any problems with the piano. Then there's the painting to Lethal Lava Land. Again, not too bad of a level.

Pumpkin Hill and Aquatic Mine in Sonic Adventure 2.

Too much information.

That lady from the Great Fairy Fountain. *twitch*

Also, the hands in the Forest Temple.
Recently played OoT.

Fuck those Wallmasters. No because the because they were scary. To be honest, they weren't scary at all. I hated them because they were so damn annoying.

Most annoying enemies in the game.

more like the entire franchise.

Wallmasters? They're easy to dispatch, but they do disrupt the flow of the game. I think I hate Keezers (or whatever they're called) more.

HOLY mother of god she's terrifying, especially with that yelling

Forever Forest in Paper Mario. Mostly that tree with the wicked grin. The rest of the chapter was okay though.

I've also been mildly disturbed by the Riverside Station in the second game.

those zombie guys in OoT who cling to you (i think they're called redeads? idk). scared the living daylights outta me when i first got grabbed by one, and then i stayed far away from that place for a while :p

also any of the FOEs in etrian odyssey make me nervous when i first find one and don't know it's movement patterns. and also when i get caught up in a fight with one

Those living treasure chests from that piece of shit game Sonic and Black Knight somehow managed to scare the crap out of me, can not explain why.

And I used to be scared of Deku Babas from various Zelda games.

This too. I thought they were actual people, so I tried talking to one. Such a bad mistake.

that fucking yeti wife cutscene in Twilight Princess right before you fight her

SA-X altogether freaks me out, the parts where you simply hide from it aren't scary as much as they are intense. The part in the plant zone where you drop down and have to run immediately was freaky though, I knew it was coming but that didn't really help.

Also, Chozo Ghosts in Metroid Prime. Everytime I hear the music it freaks me out, the enemies aren't that big of a deal, just the noise.

Sonic CD and Mario Hoops 3-on-3 Game Over music

I saw this in Who's Online, a guest was looking at it, I just had to say:

(All from SMG)
Kingfin
That hourglass shaped vortex-like thingy in the credits
The big jellyfish in Deep Dark and Bigmouth Galaxies

Not really freaking out, but I hope I'm not the only one who gets tickles when you fall from a high place (the Wind Temple in Wind Waker especially comes to mind)
