I need an idea for a science project.

So far, all of the ideas that I come up with sound stupid even in my head, so I was hoping that maybe you guys could help me come up with one.
Basic requirements for the project;

• should be able to be completely done by March 13th (this isn't me procrastinating; we literally just got the assignment yesterday)
• shouldn't cost me over $50
• nothing above high school level (I'm an 8th grader)
