Question about temp-bans

I was recently temp-banned for a week, but when the week was over I still seemed to be banned on my laptop, but not on my phone. This lasted until I restarted Chrome. Any idea what that was? A glitch or something?

It's not too bad, I guess as long as the person knows to restart their browser.

This can only be the usual: the cache had to be cleared.

Though if I read it once more, it might also be session-related, which requires a browser restart to fix.
