Is this transparency good?

The current Francis artwork on MarioWiki is a JPG image. I added transparency but I'm unsure how to tell if it is good or not. Can somebody let me know if this image is suitable to add to the wiki? Thanks

There are some unsightly raw edges and bumps in the lower parts of the image, especially around the feet. It also seems somewhat pixely in places.

Hmm, the bumps I know were also in the JPEG here: http://www.mariowiki.com/file:normal_lizardguy.jpg

All I did was select the white in Photoshop, and delete it, then add a slight inner stroke the same color as the border around him to eliminate any white pixels.

I see.

If they're present in the original, there's not much that can be done I'm afraid.

No, I wouldn't say that. The transparency actually seems ok.

But at some point it might be best if someone with enough time and the proper sources tried to find a version of the image that doesn't have those bumps.

So I can upload it then, right? Just making sure because some of my uploads get deleted (Metal Mario and Diddy Kong come to mind, along with a Paper Mario TTYD logo, but that turned out to be fanmade anyway)

Well, I'm only one person, so I can't really give you the go ahead and guarantee it's going to stick. My word is only as good as anyone else's.

You might want to wait for more people to respond if you want to be sure.

Don't bother if it's not official transparency.
