I'm not making this up, folks...I just found out today that years ago, Taft Broadcasting (who was the parent company of Saturday Supercade producer Ruby-Spears at the time) and Nintendo joined forces to open a Mario-themed amusement park attraction at King's Island (and probably elsewhere as well). I don't know how long Marioland lasted, but it likely only lasted for a few years. Would you go to Marioland if it was still open today? If you were alive during the 1980's, do you still remember Marioland at all (let alone actually going there)? This attraction was short-lived enough that not many have even heard of it, but it actually existed-believe it or not!
