For me, it is a tie between Paper Mario and Super Paper Mario. I voted for Paper Mario. What is your favorite Paper Mario game?

Super Paper Mario, probably because it was my second Mario game along with Super Mario Galaxy (Super Mario Bros. 3 was my first)

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, which is also my most favorite Mario game as a whole, as well as one of the games I enjoyed most out of all games I have ever played. It is the last remaining pillar that holds up my connection to this franchise in its entirety, and were it to be removed the whole thing would just come crashing down in a crumbling pile of discarded memories and meaningless nostalgic nonsense.

Also I like it.

I have only played The Thousand-Year Door, so I don't think I have much to say about this. I did find it quite enjoyable.

i've only played SPM and PM and i'm only like halfway through the first PM, however i'm not enjoying it anywhere near as much as I did SPM and I doubt that'll change as I progress through the game, so i'll have to say that SPM is definitely my favorite

SPM. Lots of plot (much of it srsbsns at that), including optional backstory stuff; playable Bowser; easy sidescroller gameplay allowing for the speedy progression to the lengthy cutscenes; an entire chapter based on Hades, Dante's Inferno and the Book of Revelations... So much to love (for me anyways).

TTYD is a strong second, tho: the Peach and Bowser subpots are lots of fun, the main story characters and chapters are very enjoyable, and the grand finale is indeed quite grand. Heck, the only thing I dislike is the turn-based battle system, but that's the genre, not the game's fault.

SPM, followed by PM tied with Sticker Star.

SPM was overall my favorite. Amazing story, hilarious characters, epic plot twists, you name it, it's in that game. It gets a lot of hate but really the things people hate about it don't bother me at all. TTYD is a close second because of its great story and amazing gameplay, and the fact that it took everything great about the original and made it better; followed by the original, which I am the least familiar with but I enjoyed it because it's one of the few games with the classic story that actually did a good job of making things fresh and new; then finally Sticker Star dragging dead last. Need I say more regarding that game?

Super Paper Mario. I've watched so many walkthroughs (I know the game like the back of my hand now, from the controls to the fanfiction backstories) and this game looks awesome. I like how they successfully tried something new with this game. TTYD takes second, PM takes a close third, and SS is last, for sure.
Unlike my brother, whom unfortunately, got sucked up into Sticker Star and has fallen in love with it. But then again, this is coming from a guy who keeps buying NHL games (he has 4) and runs away from his homework while playing 1 of his 1000 train games and Minecraft. But still.
I can't get into the game at all, the storyline is terrible, Kersti sucks (not to mention her name is just Sticker backwards. Er, kinda. Kersti, Stiker), and the sticker system was horrible. I mean really? Why do basic things like jump and hammer get stickers?
Wanna know the worst part to me? Bowser and Luigi get no lines. NONE. It's terrible on my heart and soul.
Super Paper Mario has the best plot of all the others. It's dark and twisted in a sense. The partners are really cool with all their unique abilities to reach every end of every course. Tippi is the best to me. I like the fact that you can travel with Mario, Peach, Bowser, and Luigi. This game has got me hooked on walkthroughs. Although it's easy, this game will be extremely fun to play when I get my hands on it.

The original game ranks up there as one of my most favorite Mario games. SPM was good, but I liked the turn-based system better. The less said about Sticker Star, the better.

Oh, and I haven't played TTYD but it looks like it would be really fun.
