STEPHAN BOLE . - The Nintendo 3DS is today the number one selling console in the world and also in France . Last year we sold almost one million in the country and we believe more than one million in 2014. Overall, 2.9 million 3DS were sold in France .
What is the breakdown of sales between classical 3DS XL and 2DS ?
The majority of sales are made on the XL version, which represents about 65 % of purchases . Nintendo 2DS it is about 30 % of sales now . It does however not easy to understand what this console ! But we worked on it and consumers have realized the importance of this model for younger , able to read the DS and 3DS games , without the possibility to activate the 3D effect, and certainly less expensive . As for the classic 3DS , we have some stock . It is still selling because there is a public, rather gamer, for this model .
What game sales ?
We had an excellent year in 2013 . On the top 20 best-selling games in France , 50% of Nintendo 3DS titles .
