A free bird leaps

on the back of the wind

and floats downstream

till the current ends

and dips his wing

in the orange sun rays

and dares to claim the sky.

But a bird that stalks

down his narrow cage

can seldom see through

his bars of rage

his wings are clipped and

his feet are tied

so he opens his throat to sing.

The caged bird sings

with a fearful trill

of things unknown

but longed for still

and his tune is heard

on the distant hill

for the caged bird

sings of freedom.

The free bird thinks of another breeze

and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees

and the fat worms waiting on a dawn bright lawn

and he names the sky his own

But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams

his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream

his wings are clipped and his feet are tied

so he opens his throat to sing.

The caged bird sings

with a fearful trill

of things unknown

but longed for still

and his tune is heard

on the distant hill

for the caged bird

sings of freedom.

That doesn't really answer my question but okay.

In addition to this, we've already seen this year the deaths of Russell Johnson, Harold Ramis, Bob Hoskins, Doc Neeson and now Ann B. Davis. I wonder who's going next-probably someone like Frank Welker?
Megatron is only 68 bro.

Maya Angelou was such a big influence in my education life.

We've read "I now know why the Caged Bird sings" and did a huge report about her and everything and watched a movie based on it. Like, we spent a month in English 10 and English 11 talking about her. In college for my poetry class we did a huge chunk of it on some of her words. Plus, I did a report on her for my speech class a month before she died on the speech she gave a month before her inauguration.

I hoped she lived a very content life.
