I thought you said you didn't have a copy yet

I played the demo and I played with my friend who owns the game

I rate A. It's definitely the best in the series, but I would criticize the battle mode and the constant loading screens.

B

It looks amazing but I definitely am noticing a lack of offline content, some stages are just really boring (Sunshine Airport, Toad's Turnpike, Music Park, DK Jungle, 3 or 4 more) and unlocking things is random which is honestly pretty infuriating sometimes, since you have no control over what you get.

Online is nice, no complaints there. Works fine, point system is good for what it is. No lag, matches are quick to get into.

Mario Kart TV is a boring and almost pointless feature IMO, I don't care about watching my races, I care about playing them. They put a huge emphasis on it too, so it's impossible to avoid when it's absolutely everywhere. Also, nobody cares about your stupid highlight video you uploaded to YouTube.

Maybe I'm being too critical. I'm definitely having fun with it and will for a long time, but from the view of it as a whole; there isn't much to this package. I do happen to enjoy racing over and over in this game, but I don't know how long that will last before it becomes a bore.

A: Amazing.

While it's not perfect, I do believe it is the best Mario Kart yet.

And Crackin, I disagree with the MKTV thing. I do think it's a cool and fun feature to use. You may not have as much control over it as you might want, but at least they are giving us the option to share these videos on youtube and miiverse and stuff! You have your best race ever, and before you could only tell people it or record the screen while you race with another camera, and now you get that. Or maybe you just wanted to focus on a certain part, and now - for the most part - you can. Can you improve it? Of course you can, but maybe for the next Mario Kart will they improve it. I think that this new feature is definitely worth while.

And I definitely find the courses all fun and vigorating. Star Cup as always is my fav, Special Cup is awesome too but sometimes the AI difficulty makes it annoying, and the rest are great as well. It's also the first Mario Kart game where I don't feel like the Retros are that boring, and have the best replay value on them. Heck, it's hard to remember what the originals looked like, especially Wario Stadium's, so it feels like they are brand new tracks for the most part.

While I do hate the coin item, I do have to admit that the item system is probably the most balanced this time around. I definitely am having more difficulty staying in first with it, and it does make me angry, but at least it's fun knowing that it's a close race rather than in Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Wii where I spend most of the race way out in first. I do wish that some of the courses didn't make it to where you have to rely on the luck of the item to win you the race, and I still hate the fact that it's always on the 3rd lap towards the end where everything seems to bombard you.

The thing I despise about the item system is how fucking common lightning is. I always get hit like twice per race.

I also found that the Piranha Plant item isn't that useful. I can never get close enough in the time it lasts to actually hit someone.

I like the piranha plant because maybe it doesn't bite someone when I use it, but it does give me a bit of a boost that will help me make my way back up to first.

And I really don't mind the lightning. It affects everyone except for the person that uses it, so it's not like it does too much damage to you other than make you smaller for a bit.

Amazing, but when the flaws are there, they're really there.
