What annoys you?

I will admit that bad grammar or spelling annoys me a lot. I don't want to be a Grammar Nazi, especially since I poke fun at those people, but it still drives me crazy.

Real people acting like anime people. It bothers me so, so much.

People who care what other people do when it doesn't affect them.

If it doesn't affect you, then why do you care?

I hate when people pronounce anime completely wrong like "uh-no-meah" like my father.

Also when people call chess "chest". Like, I don't even get that. I know a few people who do that and it irritates me to death.

Also when they call chess knights "horsies", and to a lesser extent, when people try to breed them.

Am I the only one who still calls it Japanimation?

Wait, what? I can honestly say I've never seen anyone do that.

Well in that case, you are fortunate.

Also, to add to my chess pet peeves, I freaking hate it when outside people remove random pieces from the board. It is usually a rook, king or queen too. My band director and sister do this all the time, and between the two, I wish I could get away with strangling.

People watching YouTube videos and posting a question when the answer IS RIGHT THERE IN THE FREAKING VIDEO!!! Or when their comment has nothing to do with the video.

I want an explanation

who the hell tries to breed chess knights

I mean what does that even entail
Ok, how do I keep this at least PG rated? Well, here in the countryside, many families actually breed horses for a living or something like that, so anything pertaining to it is normal and/or not a big deal. I am not actually sure. So, there are some people, always girls mind you, who see the knights, and I have a very high dollar chess board, so they are pretty detailed, and they like...IDK, it is hard to explain. Showing them would be much easier, but they put them together, and well, yeah.

People using their religion as an excuse to be homophobic, use your own free thought.

People that lick their fingers.

And this,

People saying the same thing over and over.

I read this as "Use your own free thought to be homophobic instead of religion". >_>

People who are dumb and refuse to admit that they're wrong.
Everyone has done this at some point or another.

I have a whole ton so I guess I'll just post them as I think about them or as they come up.

*People who feel the need to correct everyone on everything all the time. It's fine to point out an inaccuracy every now and then, especially if it's horribly wrong, but those people who are always all

all the time can just go dive off a cliff. This extends to nitpicking fine details, reading a statement literally to the fullest extent even if it's obvious what the intention was, and pointing out simple typos or grammar imperfections that no one actually cares about. It's especially grating when the person who's trying to be a smartass by correcting someone is actually wrong themself.

*People who for some reason need to be obnoxious in public to bring attention to themselves, even though it brings attention to everyone around them like me which sucks because horrible anxiety. Example, my step brother feeling the need to be loud and raucous in restaurants, making dirty jokes and just being a shitty fucker all the time--he was raised on shows like Jackass so that's how he is.

*People who are unable to take any hints that I don't want to continue talking with them, or that I'm busy and need to go.

*Old people in general, and their stereotypical mannerisms such as inherent racism and homophobia, failure to understand that it's no longer fucking 1784 and things have changed, feeling like their ancient wisdom in fields such as how hot dogs used to be 5 cents and that they had to walk uphill in winter to and from school every day mean that they're infallible.

*People who repeat information to me that I've confirmed that I understood, or people who keep asking me to tell them something I've literally just fucking told them. This includes people not thinking I'm being serious when I tell them something and in turn don't follow whatever thing I just told them, causing me to repeat myself in a more stern way, which branches off to the next one..

*People who think I'm mad or grumpy when I'm not. I'm usually being stern or blunt or just making a point without any concealed intentions, or even it could be what I think is an obvious joke. If it's pushed, or even sometimes on the first comment, telling me that I should stop acting pissy even though I'm not will pretty much always have the only outcome of actually making me pissy directly at you for making the assumption.

Same here. Except I have no problem with old people in general (I just hate anyone, including old people, who says something should happen just because it was like that somewhere else or a while ago). Also I sort of hate it when adults tell "when I was a child" stories because they're implying they liked the old times better and I think "well what do I care about it" while still saying "oh that's interesting" because it's not like people they tell these things to can do anything.

I'm also bothered by the sound of clapping in public events (while I know that the person performing really deserves the applause) every time a play or something is over I'm like "oh crap here it comes" and then plug my ears during the applause. I guess this could be because I don't like loud sounds/music in general.

Those commercials for Carl's Jr. annoy me.

Does a burger really need an overly sexy ad campaign?
