How luck based does Mario Party 10 seem?

How much?

When was Mario Party ever not absurdly luck-based?

It's not known as the series that ruins friendships for nothing.

What kind of poll is this? The options are based on your opinion. Plus, the game hasn't even come out. How can we tell?

Changed the options per bolded statement.

Well it's like any board games in general. But there are several twists so that you can balance the luck to your favor, which, in previous Mario Parties, is winning the minigames and buying items. That's a feasible strategy to win in a luck-based game.

However, Mario Party 9 and beyond ----s on that concept.

Chance Time.

Exchange all coins and stars.

Watch all that work you put in minigames and planning go down the drain in an instant.

Chance Time stopped existing since Mario Party 7, thankfully

Oh. I did not know that.

That sounds like an improvement.

Believe me. It IS an improvement.

You know there's something wrong with Fortune/Chance spaces when you'd want to avoid them even more than you want to avoid Bowser Spaces.

I hate those mofo spaces with a passion, too.

chance times are certainly fun to watch however

Only if you're not on the butt end of it

If I had the Choice between a Bowser Space and a Chance Time space in Mario Party 4, I'd pick Chance Time so as to not risk the horrible Nightmare inducing Mario Party 4 Bowser Minigames. Thankfully, Mario Party 5, 6, and 7 all have fun Bowser Minigames, even if Scaldin Cauldron is luck based.

Nah, Mario Party 4's Bowser space nightmare fuel isn't as bad as the nightmares chance time causes

skip to 3:48.

Because we both dislike Wario, lets choose an instance that Wario lost.

Oh come on it's funny BECAUSE Wario and Donkey Kong CPUs ALWAYS lose.

As the uploader of this image, my sister and I can confirm that Donkey Kong WILL lose.

The result is hilarious when he loses.

Also, I prefer losing all my coins than swapping stars with people.

What if...

What if Nintendo realized that by the time Mario Party 8 and DS came out that they ruined all friendships, and so they made Mario Party 9, Island Tour, and 10 just to ruin the friendship of the player and the company? :P

No, I imagine it to be super luck based. Like, no doubt that you could be losing the entire time and then the last boss battle making a sudden comeback, while every other player that worked their butt off loses because of a misclick or a roll of a bad number.

It's ND Cube, the maker of Wii Party. They have already tarnished themselves before the coming of Mario Party 9.
