4-D movies

On the chat, A couple of people and I were having a conversation about 4D movies. Now, I went to this attraction at Universal Studios called Shrek 4D, but it was just an average 3D movie. I think 4D has more potential than that. What are your ideas about 4D movies?

by 4D, do you mean actual 4D movies, or 3D movies with added effects that you won't normally get with 3D movies?

By 4D, I mean a type of movie better than 3D, like, maybe, virtual reality.

4D would actually be referring to time

it's something like 1D is lenth, 2D is width, 3D is depth, and 4D is time

and i think it's been said that there's like 12 dimensions or something

I think the current count is at ten dimensions but I'm not sure. Time is definitely the fourth dimension. Then I think there's imaginary space and imaginary time.

As far as I'm aware, there's no limit on the number of theoretical dimensions, although whether our universe goes over 3 is a different topic.

But yeah, I think a true 4D movie (as well as a theoretical 4DS) would have it altering time in some way.

I think there was a Rugrats movie that did something similar.

Well there was that Rugrats/Wild Thornberry movie that used those scratch and sniff things that goes along with the movie.
