So I have $45, which is just enough to get me a new 3DS game. I'm debating between these three; Yoshi's New Island, Mario Party: Island Tour, or Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. You guys can help me decide which game to get, or suggest another 3DS game I should try (please no Pokémon).

If you're gonna suggest another game, I already have these;
  • Super Mario 3D Land
  • Mario Kart 7
  • A Link Between Worlds
  • Kirby: Triple Deluxe
  • Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
  • Tomodachi Life

Fire Emblem: Awakening

Transformers Dark of the Moon: Stealth Force Edition

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is a great game, Yoshi's New Island is oh so flawed and I wouldn't get it unless there's nothing better for you to get, which I doubt would be the case for a long time. Mario Party: Island Tour is often hated on, but I can't really say anything about it myself so judge for yourself.

Apart from those three, Fire Emblem: Awakening (and let this be your wake-up call to such a fabulous game), Mario Golf: World Tour (this is anything but a teerible game), Kid Icarus: Uprising (I'm not kidding when I say this is an excellent game) and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (you'd be a lunatic not to get this) are all very worthy purchases if you ask me.

Mario Golf: World Tour is far superior.

If you buy this game, don't expect that it's an oldschool paper mario game. Then its probably okay...

...Wait what am I saying? The game is horrible!

:luma: Out of all of the Mario games you don't own, get Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. It's- dreamy! :posh:

Seriously, though. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team has great visuals, an excellent soundtrack, top-notch humor, very good gameplay (basically the same as other Mario & Luigi games, which is great), memorable characters, references to other Mario & Luigi games, fun Dream World areas, an entire island to explore, a great concept that works, and lots to do outside of the main game (including a Hard Mode). The game also brings back several features from past Mario & Luigi games, including special Bros. Moves, Giant Battles, 2D exploration (in the Dream World), and X Bosses. Overall, this is probably the best Mario & Luigi game to date.

I second this.

I think Bowser's Inside Story is the best but Dream Team is still a great game. Though those giant battles were frustrating.
