Better than MK8's roster, however it still has some flaws.

>I understand needing partners for certain characters, but you could have given Shy Guy General Guy and Koopa Kooper/Parakarry/Koops. Adding wings/a propeller isn't enough of a difference IMO, even though Paratroopa was in DD.

It is alright but I would change a few things. Instead of Shy Guy and Fly Guy and Wiggler and Lakitu, put Shy guy and Lakitu together, they were revealed together in a MK8 trailer and it seems like a better idea than including Fly Guy and using Wiggler. Wiggler was alright but I don't find him fitting very well.

Include Hammer Bro and Magikoopa. I still find there being too many babies as well...

Also I would probably include the weight classes for each character, just so it balances a bit.

Whatever, let's get down to this.

Lack of color swaps is a big plus.
There's barely any difference between Shy Guy and Fly Guy. Wriggler is a strange choice. Why not cut Fly and Wriggler and put in another pairing, Shy Guy and Lakitu would work well enough. Koopa/Paratroopa has a similar issue, cut out Para and give him a more unique partner.
Lack of representation from side series makes me sad.
Baby Daisy's inclusion irks me, maybe pair up Baby Peach with Toadsworth or something.
Kremlings? YAY!
Why is Wario wearing his WarioWare outfit?
Put Lubba or Polari in over Luma.
Overall: 8.5/12, good but needs improvement.

Because IIRC that's the only option for Wario in the Smash Bros. roster maker, which he seems to have used to make this.

He has his standard outfit as a color swap.
 
I'd probably give it a 12/12, only because I love Mario characters! :luigi: :daisy:

Because 12 is a number that is divisible by both 3 and 4 which makes it easy to split points down into separate categories.

Just because 12 (and a 12-based system) is a better mathematical number than 10 doesn't mean you can just randomly shoe-horn it into everything and expect people to accept it.
 
I say we should all go on strike until he re-establishes his system on a more acceptable 10-point scale!

It's OK, 7/12. Replace Kritter/K. Rool with Petey/King Boo and it gets 11/12.

I actually really like this roster, only thing that irks me is the Lakitu and Wiggler pairing, personally I think it should be Lakitu and Kamek, or Wiggler and Honey Queen.

It's pretty good, I would switch out Cranky for Funky, and get rid of Fly Guy and Wiggler, pair up Shy Guy-Lakitu, and add King Boo-Petey Piranha.
