Minecraft won't work

Recently, when I've been trying to get onto Minecraft the game won't load. If I go into Development Console, it keeps saying "Had local file but it was the wrong size".

Anyone know what's going on and how to fix it?

Back up your saves, texture packs, and whatever else, and re-install Minecraft.

I already tried that. Still isn't working.

Try deleting the folder of the current version that you're using (in the "%appdata%\.minecraft\versions" folder, e.g. %appdata%\.minecraft\versions\1.7.2").

Try updating your graphics driver and/or reinstalling java

It should be the latest version, and I'll try some of the other suggestions when I can get back onto the computer (I'm using iPod right now).

Then you should have Version 0.8.1 on Pocket Edition (Despite 0.9.0 is coming tomorrow :D)
