To post an image, does it have to be online or is there a way to bring it here from directly on your computer?

it's gotta be from a URL, in between two img tags, specifically

[IMG] [/IMG]

with the URL replacing the space of course

Yea, it has to be from a URL, but you can use a free image uploaders such as imgur to upload images from your computer.
