And because nobody seemed to care I will abuse this thread for postings of my stuffz.

>Dat queue

After you've passed the first gate where they want to see your tickets you reach a place with like 5 tents outside where you can get these fancy handbands that indicate how old you are by color (So that they can forcefully push you out of the queue for The Evil Within when you're not 18).

I got a blue one, make of that what you want.

So after that there's another queue in front of the main doors.

Then it opens. They let like 1000 people in and then the gate closed again. Fucking great, as I was now in the front row, but in front of a closed scond gate. What they did was waiting until all the people they've led in pass the third gate where there is a ticket scanner (as if they havent already seen your tickets at the first one).

Tl;Dr: Got in at 10:50am or so, full 50 minutes after the inital opening.

Anyways, me and that other guy I was with rush through to the Nintendo booth.
>Sign there
>"queue for Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS, from here 60 Minutes"
>lmao

After a short detour end up standing there anyways. Turns out it only took about 20 minutes to get to the Wii U version but whatever. Was pretty nice except for that I died only like once with ZSS and when Sudden Death approached I didn't even particpate... Anyways, a Wii Fit Trainer won, Little Mac (my friend) second, ZSS (me) third and Link fourth (that guy lost all of his lives like halfway through lmao). Everybody who won a match on the Wii U version participated in a best of tournament on the show floor they had there (aka 4 matches played, 4 winners, battle on the showfloor). winner got a gold medal, pretty neat. It was like an endless tournament which is pretty cool.

After running around in Hall 10 (merchandise shops) for a good while, we headed up stairs to a restaurant which was where I shot this photo of the crowds with my 3DS on the main boulevard (note: youre supposed to pass through there to get from hall to hall).

I took some other photos too but most suck or show me or my friend and I'm not gonna upload those.

After that we split up, he went to Tom Clancy's The division and I went to the Oculus Rift booth.

They had a queue of like 2 hours but it was seriously worth the wait.

They had 4 Xbox games to play there, one was a space FPS, one was a diving simulator (?) and one was this mario clone 3d platformer that I played. Idk the fourth as it was in a corner I couldn't see from where I was sitting

So they gave me this helmet thing, which instantly reminded me of the virtual boy.

>boothgirl tells me to attach it to my head and place the lenses on my eyes
>weird mixed colors and unsharpness for like 5 seconds
>Then it focussed
>Mind = Blown.

This is what it's like when your ENTIRE field of view is a video game. And it's fucking awesome. Essentially what was done was just that the camera movement of the game had to be done manually by looking around. You could take a full 360 of the level and see whats behind you, you could zoom in and out by leaning back and forth, and of couse you could aim and throw bombs by moving your head.

All that in HD (while there was this odd 50s comic circle pattern all over it for some reason but that didn't bother me at all) and 3D (that 3D effect is as realistic as it can get, srsly it's 10 times better than in any cinema).

After 5 minutes beat the level. I will never be able to play a normal video game again.

After my firend rejoined me we head back to Nintendo (was about 3 pm).

Now the queue for SSB read 200 minutes wait time. Heh.

I go around the Nintendo booth a bit, find a completely uncrowded Mario Party 10 stand and decided to play a few minigames with an employee and some other random guys.

Yeah it sucked.

Was gonna get in line for Hyrule Warriors after that but even that had like a 60 minutes waiting queue and after Oculus I was fucking tired of that shit.

Go to the corner of the Nintendo booth where there are these stairs, like 100 people with 3DSes sitting on them. They even had charge adapters where you could charge your 3DS for free, pretty cool indeed.

At the end of the day I had a new t Shirt, a Guy Fawkes Mask, and like 150 street passes.

Verdict: You guys missed out on a lot of fun.

Oh and regarding Cosplays,

I saw literally everything:
Steve from Minecraft
Yoko from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
10000 characters from League of Legends
9 guys standing in front of a Valve merchandise booth dressed as the classes from TF2 (note: i actually have a photo from them but unfortunately it was shaken a bit oo much and you can't really see anything)
then of course some guy in a huge mario suit, and on the way out a random Pikachu passed me (I assume they were Nintendo employees)
Power Rangers
Skull Kid from MM with Majora's Mask in his hand,

and the Award for the best Cosplay goes to a Midna one I saw (obviously), but unfortunately I don't have a photo from that because she wasn't there anymore when I pulled out my 3DS :/
