Since 3D Player was permabanned, I figured I'd remake this thread since it seemed to be considerably active.

Petey would be an awesome character, but as Glitchy said he'd work better as a board host.
 
lol I find it funny how we have to make a new Mario Party 10 wants thread because 3D player gets banned. Btw, I agree, Petey would make a much better host.
 
No for two reasons:
  • Petey is just too big as a playable character for Mario Party. Mario Party is known for having characters with all the same attributes, trying to fix Petey to that would be too weird.
  • He/she suits better as a boss and he/she is already one in Mario Party 10.

Petey is too big?

It's like my favorite characters are doomed to be shunned because they are "too big"

Petey has been scaled down plenty of times.
 
Petey would be fun to play as, but I just can't see him working. Voted yes anyway because I'd love it if they could make it work.

Also sometime down the line it would be nice if you could do a poll for Fawful.

I don't size is an issue here, Petey was fine for Strikers.

Its not a problem in Strikers, but in Mario Party I think it is. For minigames like Thwomper Room. They could reduce his size, but it would make it weird.
 
Mario Party uses similar builds for all characters. Characters deemed too large usually end up as NPCs (see Bowser). I see Petey Piranha MUCH more suited for a NPC role than a playable role.
