Random things that bother me in Super Mario 64 DS (plot continuity etc)

So am I the only one who is wondering how Bowser managed to beat up Mario, Luigi and Wario before the game even started?

I mean considering how incompetent he is usually.

Perhaps he had the upper advantage of a surprise attack. I mean it's not like all three came to Peach's castle expecting Bowser to defeat them.

Perhaps it's like Plankton's Plan Z where this plan of Bowser's is literally the only good and foolproof plan that he ever has.

Also from what the story of the game says Mario seems to have got beaten up after he got to bob-omb battlefield because theres a bob-omb buddy referring to him

and also why did yoshi suddenly warp from the roof where he is in the intro to the spawn where he starts the game?

Well the real reason is because its Mario, this series will change anything to fit the scenario.

The fact that the game states that they are captured by goomboss, king boo and chief chilly respectively makes this even more ridiculous. first of all, goomboss. mario has dealt with worse things then "PUNCH'M TILL THE FUCKER DIES" before, and he had fucking wario and luigi to help him. unless they were captured at the same time, but still. luigi has dealt with king boo before, so he has even less of an alibi. Wario's the only one who i can understand. chief chilly is the hardest of the three, and wario's poor abilities make it possible that he did get captured by him.

Bowser used the power of the power stars of course.

Also, Goomboss is defeated by either throwing Yoshi's eggs at him or punching the Goombas so they'll hit him. Mario probably tried the usual stomping with no success.

Luigi lost to King Boo because this either occurred before Luigi's Mansion or Luigi didn't know how to fight him without using the Poltergust or was too scared to fight back.

And Wario couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag.

Or why are most of the enemies in Captain Toad are Bowser's minions when as far as we know he isn't in the game.
