I know a lot of people on this forum have some form of a mental illness or disorder. What mental disorder do you have?

If you know me well, you know that I have autism. I don't exactly know what kind of autism do I have.

other than self-diagnosed bipolar disorder ((which I'm unclear if I have or just mood swings, it's not diagnosed by a doctor or anything)), nothing

I know for a fact that Satoshi Tajiri, the creator of Pokemon actually has autism like a lot of people on here. Autism is a very common disorder.

I have regular autism, but I fear I may actually have more then that. I'm thinking about asking my parents to take me to a psychiatrist to find out.

mfw you didnt list half of my disorders.

I have depression, anxiety, ptsd, bipolar, and adhd. :eekdance:

Idek if I'm affected with any of these. If I am affected I don't know about it

Aspergers/Autism
I don't tend to talk about it too much though as I don't like using it as an excuse too much, even though it affects me a fair bit I cope.

Autism and depression.

When I lived in Oklahoma with my father and stepmother, they completely denied that I had any form of autism and would punish me for any sign of it claiming I was "pretending" and that "we don't have a retarded child." They literally scared me into believing them and denying it myself. That's probably what caused my depression, and I've only recently accepted the fact that I'm autistic.

Also I think I might have OCD, which my parents also denied of course (they would make me watch Monk and ask me "do you really want to be like this?")

And despite the way my parents treated me, I can't help but miss the times when I lived there, because at least my life was more organized and they pushed me to max out my potential. I feel like nothing but a deadbeat now.

I am the only one in my family that has autism.

I added Developmental Coordination Disorder.

These are both kinda self-diagnosed, but I have OCD and mild sadistic personality disorder. My OCD can result in things taking longer than needed before I like the result (for example, it took nearly half an hour to organize ONE shelf in my bookcase), but otherwise it doesn't make a huge deal in my life, and I manage to control my sadistic personality disorder pretty well.

That's nice to know.

it's very likely that i do have aspergers or something, but unlike some people, i don't fucking self-diagnose because that's stupid
