Issue with tablet battery

so lately, my tablet battery is deciding to be stupid. it randomly goes from whatever % to dead in like two seconds. what makes this especially frustrating is this always happens when its charging and i barely even touch the charger. so, basically, i want to know why this happens and how i can stop it. because its already happened three times this week and i really dont need it happening on friday because im doing movie night on another site.

I think the solution is getting a new charger. This happened to me once, and when I got a new charger, it's mostly normal now. In the meantime, it should charge while it's off.
