Hey guys,
Pish and Swift here from Campfire Stories Productions. We have this show called Royal Escape. We're really proud of it, but we don't have any mothers to show it to. So can you be our mothers and at least lie to us about doing a good job on it?
The title says it all. The show is about escaping. Think the plot of Mario 64 but in reverse. Instead of Mario trying to get into the castle with the stars, he's trying to escape it thanks to Bowser tricking him into thinking the princess was there and trapping him inside. Unlike Mario 64, this time he's got friends to accompany him. But, don't you worry, these friends aren't Sonic-esque friends. There's no Charmie Bee up in here. We've got Lakitu, a nagging turtle/bomb hybrid(It kind of makes sense in context but not really) with father issues, and Stan, a tiny yet jacked chuckya, who just might be the chillest mother*bleep*er on the planet. The three have a bond that literally anyone can break, and it is a miracle that they've lasted this long to begin with.
Above, we have posted two episodes of the show. Much like Community or Arrested Development, a lot of the show's humor is based off of continuity, so we decided to post episode 6 as one of two. The stuff that goes down in episode 6 has a lot of subtle and not subtle references made to it later on in the series, and it's one of our favorites. The other episode is episode 11, the most recent one.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. We hope you take the time to watch the series. We really enjoy making it and we want to continue making it, but in order to do that we need more of an audience to actually enjoy it with us. We're hoping that you guys can be a part of that audience.
