R.I.P. Christopher Lee

Wow sad news.

I've actually come to see Christopher Lee IRL once when he was in Hamburg in 2011 because he was the vip guest at the 25th anniversary party of a popular cinema magazine from around here, and my uncle works for the television version of that so I somehow got in.

He sung on german at one point, pretty funny.

Rest in Peace.
 
Lee was the only person involved in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy to actually have met Tolkien.

I told my dad he died, and he was shocked at how old he was (93).

But it turns out he thought I was saying Christopher Reeve, whom he thought was still alive.

But i digress. You will be missed, Christopher Lee.

As a fun fact, he was tied with Vince Vaughn for tallest actor in Hollywood.
