so my SSBM disc has taken a beating overtime, leading up to this;

three big scratches on the disc, bad enough that data can't be read. can this be repaired, or do I need to buy a new one?

damn that sucks, I can only find copies online and they sell for like $50

you should look into backing up your gcn discs

yeah it's crazy how expensive gamecube games have gotten online, nintendo needs to stock those games in virtual console.

Yes, it's possibly their only major console with no games on the e-Shop aside from remakes (which don't really count).
