Nicholas Winton died at 106

So Today Nicholas Winton died, making it all the way to 106 years old. During World War II, he organized a rescue, which saved 669 children in the "Czech Kindertransport". He kept hidden his humanitarian exploits until his wife found a scrapbook in 1988.

I thought it would be nice to shed some light on him and for the fact that he saved so many lives in such a horrible time. My he rest in peace.

I believe that was the person my mom was referring to earlier today? It's depressing that I don't know this person.

Of course, my French family side would probably know this person. My maternal grandmother, being in one hotspot of World War II, Lorraine France, has to live through this.

I knew who that guy was, he was pretty much unknown until in the 1980s somebody digged up his story and he was invited into a talkshow or sth. where it was later revealed that everyone else in that audience was people he saved.

theres probably a youtube video of this, will edit it into here if i find it Edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_nFuJAF5F0

You do know that's the video in the OP that I posted, right?

Didn't see that because embedded youtube videos don't work on the Wii U.

They're not shown instead it's just showing a blank space where the player would be and a link, and I didn't see the link because of the blank space.
