Rechargeable Xbox 360 Controller Problem

My Cousins gave me a new Xbox Controller during my vacation and i was dying to use it, when i came back i found it it did'nt have a battery pack. It was a Rechargeable Battery Pack but when i connected it to my controller charger, it did'nt work, got any solutions?.

When i connect it to the controller, it does'nt charge.
