Celestial Guide
Those of you familiar with Mega Man may also know that Capcom also created a spin off of sorts, known as Megaman Battle Network. There was an anime based on the Battle Network games called Rockman.Exe or Megaman NT Warrior.
The anime had 5 seasons.
Original
The first season was for the most part identical to the first two games involving Lan and Mega Man fighting against World 3 and Gospel, with a story arc in the middle involving Pharoah Man deleting Mega Man and needing to be revived.
Axess
The crime syndicate "Nebula" led by Dr. Regal is out to take over the world with his army of darkloids.
This is when the anime takes a drastic change of pace both in itself and following the game's plot as well as being the most iconic. The concept of cross fusion is introduced allowing Lan and Mega Man to fuse together into a single entity. Proto Man becomes a darkloid and joins Nebula in the second half of the season. The darkloids are expanded to include most of the navis from 3, 4, and Network Transmission (the Gamecube version).
This is also where the dub ends.
Stream
An extraterrestial net navi called Duo arrives at Earth and believes that Earth is an evil and dangerous place due to Dr. Regal's attempt at taking over the world and decides to destroy it. However, Duo is fascinated by Lan and Chaud's ability to cross fuse with Mega Man and Proto Man and decides to give humanity a test to see how they use his Asteroid Navis. Unbeknowst to Duo, his loyal underling Slur (an anime exclusive character) sabotages the test by purposely giving Asteroid Navis to corrupt people. While Lan and Mega Man battle Asteroid Navis, they must also deal with the likes of the crime syndicate Neo World 3 and a new group of Darkloids led by Dark Mega Man and another old enemy.
Stream Movie
The movie was set during Stream revealing that Dr. Regal survived and lived in cyberspace and had another evil plan involving Nebula Grey and something called Spectrum.
Beast
In an alternate universe referred to as "Beyondard", an alternate Dr. Wily creates 2 Cybeasts known as Gregar and Falzar, pits them against each other in a war, combines the real world with cyberspace in an effort to take over the world. Meanwhile, Mega Man finds a baby navi from Beyondard and names it Trill who was created by Beyondard Dr. Light to stop the war between Gregar and Falzar and has the ability to transform Mega Man into miniature versions of Gregar and Falzar. The first half of the season involves Zoanranoids (navis infected by Gregar or Falzar) invading Earth to get their hands on Trill. The second half involves the characters accidentally being sent to Beyondard battling Beyondard Dr. Wily.
Beast +
This was mostly filler and was initially based on Network Transmission only with Gregar and Falzar in place of the Life Virus. Afterwards, it was mostly filler followed by episodes based on Battle Network Japan only cell phone game.
The episodes were also reduced to 9 minutes.
