Battle.net problem

Since last night, Battle.net is not letting me connect online. I was thinking maybe this had to do with the DDOS attacks, but they have stopped and I still can't get on and play. Whenever I open the Battle.net app, it says Connecting... and then it just stays that way.

Everything on the games page loads up fine, but if I try to get into Overwatch, it asks for my username and password. The only problem is that the login button is completely unclickable.
 
If I uninstall and reinstall it, would there be any repercussions? Would I have to make a new account and start back at the beginning with Overwatch?
 
all your overwatch and battle.net info is connected to the cloud, so uninstalling is fine
