Hi!
I'm running a 24/7 stream of an AI trying to learn how to play SMB.
It's an adaption of SethBling's MarI/O code.
Anyway, today it's done something strange that I've never seen or heard of before.
On 1-1, about 2/3rds of the way though, the camera seems to lag behind Mario; i.e. Mario is closer to the right hand side of the screen than usual.
This gets worse as the level is completed, until Mario finishes the level.
After sliding down the flagpole, he continues to hop off and start to walk to the right, but the camera doesn't move.
Here is a clip of it:
Anyone know if this is a commonly known glitch?
And/or any idea why it happens?
Edit: I forgot to mention that it is emulated (BizHawk) and running slow, but I'm hesitant to say that this is the problem.
