That is a pretty interesting find! I know Gamekult is very throughout with archiving video game artwork but I never had the idea to check their video archives too.
The pop-up at 2:04 indicates the yoshi's island portion would've been very different.

So, aside from Yoshi's Island, here are some things I see that are different
-Koopaleon is called Netherdandal Koopa or whatever
-You can retrieve Red Shells back if you kill all enemies. It gets consumed in the final game.
-Spiked Shell is a Bros. Item not in the final game.
-Heart UI instead of character heads
-Some different UI on the screen like the Star Icon
-A different transition animation than the final game
