This man was an absolute legend. He will be dearly missed.

I didn't see many of his roles, but I did watch The Day of The Doctor, and he was excellent as the War Doctor.

Rest in peace, John. Guess we're the ones who are Hurt now.

The Elephant Man was his best performance. If Robert De Niro didn't do Raging Bull that year, John would have won that Oscar!

If we're talking about performances, his role as Caligula in the BBC series I, Claudius is masterful. Everyone should check this series out at sometime. He was amazing in it.
