Oh...hello!
Well, you may remember that I used to host these games every time the 24 most recent character-based elimination games finished. However, this time around, things have changed a lot. Due to the steep drop in activity for elimination games in general (evidenced by both the fact that the last Winners game was in 2014 and that some elimination games are taking nearly a year and a half to even finish), from now on, I'll be posting these when we reach 10 character winners. I feel like if I kept the character number at 24, this would not only take a few more years to get up, but Lord knows how long it would take to finish! Also, due to the lower amount of characters, their HP has been increased from 15 to 20.
So that aside, welcome to the next volume of the Winners Hurt and Heals, where the winners of the24 10 most recent character-based elimination games duke it out, leaving one victor standing!
Here are the items you may use in the game. The item set is basically the same as the ones that were in Volume 4 (save for the 80th post item), and from this point on, I'll probably just start reusing entire item sets from previous games.
10th post: Roy's Double-Edge Dance from Melee (Hurt x4)
20th post: Hearts from Donkey Kong (Heal x3)
30th post: Chain Chomp from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (Hurt x6)
40th post: Grenade Launcher from Brawl (Hurt 2 characters of your choice x2)
50th post: Poison from Paper Mario (Gradually hurts a character of your choice x1 over the course of 10 posts)
60th post: Shield from Brawl (Locks the person's HP so no one can hurt them for 10 posts)
70th post: Kamehameha from Dragon Ball Z (Hurt x8)
80th post: Banana from Brawl (Hurts a character by the first letter of their name. If it is a consonant, hurt x4, if it is a vowel, hurt x3.)
90th post: Life Shroom from Paper Mario (Heals a character to 20 HP, except on the 190th post, where it revives a character)
100th post: Mega Ground Pound (Instantly brings any character's HP to 1)
Rules
1. In my hurt and heals, you can hurt x2 and heal x2 in the same post, and when the cycle of items reaches 100, start back at the beginning of the item list.
2. The max health a character can be healed to is 50.
3. Specifying the post count isn't necessary, as the post number is included in every post – however, if someone makes a post without contributing to the game, please specify the post count from that point.
