Old small Mario figures

I found these small figures in my garage, I believe must be from 1990s. I searched but didn't find any photos of these figures in internet. Do you know from where/when they are?

sorry I copied the link from google photos and it was working for me.

From the quality of the figures and what they convey Mario doing, they appear to be bootlegs. Any searches I looked for relating to the figures had no results or official merchandise.
