Nintendo 64 Mini - Your Ideal Selection

With the Mini versions of NES/Famicom and SNES/Super Famicom out of the way, the Nintendo 64 would likely be the next in line in the foreseeable future. Ever since there is a Nintendo 64 logo trademark found back in July 2017, the Nintendo 64 Mini is not out of the question.

With that said, there are game selections that we would find ideal in a Nintendo 64 Mini. Here are my picks:

  • Mario Party 3 (Chosen over Mario Party 2 because it's not rereleased)
  • Mario Golf
  • Mario Tennis
  • Dr. Mario 64
  • Paper Mario
  • Super Smash Bros.
  • Donkey Kong 64
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
  • Pilotwings 64
  • Wave Race 64
  • 1080 Snowboarding
  • Star Fox 64
  • Kirby 64: the Crystal Shards
  • F-Zero X
  • Pokemon Snap
  • Pokemon Puzzle League

I know there are a lot of games here, but there are just so many options I would like! Anyway, what would your selection look like? If you are thinking of that: no repeat options, please.

Diddy Kong Racing, that game from that accursed franchise has got to be in there.

I also want Beetle Adventure Racing as the "WTF" option and you get a if you played the game.

Rare was bought out by Microsoft in 2002, so the chances of the games featuring their characters (Banjo, Kazooie, Conker, etc.) coming to the N64 Classic will be rare to none.

I hope they don't fix any bugs with SM64 or any of their other games. A lot of the speedrunners would get mad, and more importantly... we need to talk about parallel universes.

Also, if nobody said Paper Mario 64... Paper Mario 64.

I'd actually like this list more because most of those games I don't recognize.

It's kinda a shame that there isn't a mention of Beetle Adventure Racing though... pssst, it has a vehicular combat mode though it's limited to multiplayer
